Questions

How long does film developing take?
Colour film takes 2–3 business days. Black & white is developed by hand and takes up to 7 business days. Rush is next business day (colour only) and adds 50% to the roll. Either way, your film has its own page that shows exactly where it is up to.
How will I know my film is ready?
We email you when your film is ready, with a link to your job and any scans. You can also find them under Your film and scans.
Do you develop disposable cameras?
Yes. Book it as 35mm colour. If you want prints, pick 27 or 39 disposable for the length; a 39 costs what a 36 does.
Can I post my film to you from outside Newcastle?
Yes, from anywhere in Australia. Book and pay online, then post the film to Pro Am Lab, PO Box 377, Adamstown NSW 2289 with your name on the parcel. We email you when it arrives and at every step after that.
Do I need to book before I post my film?
Book it first. Booking tells us what you want done and takes the payment, so when the parcel arrives we can start straight away.
How do I get my scans?
They go into your online gallery and your account. We email you the link as soon as they are ready, and they stay there for 14 days to download.
Do I get my negatives back?
Prints and negatives are kept for 2 months, then recycled. Ask us to post them back and we will.
